These were exactly what I was looking for. Slip like material that wasn’t too thick. They are very soft and pretty. After reading the reviews, I decided to go with the beige, which is a deep ivory. Also I am 5’5” and I weigh 126 lbs. some people said the slip runs small, but that is not true. I ordered a large, but I could’ve fit into a small. The large is kind of like a one size fits all, nice and roomy.

Very comfortable and washes well. I previously bought shorter Pettipants for shorter dresses. My mother tells me that this style of slip was popular "way back when" and I say it's time to bring it back! Like many people, I get the dreaded thigh-chafe while wearing skirts, and neither nylons nor standard slips help. I ordered both the beige and black for a business trip to a desert climate and was so grateful for the comfort they provided. I walked 7 miles one day in the desert heat wearing one under a dress and when I got back to my hotel, my thighs were fine (though my feet were another story). I only wish I had known of these fifteen years ago--they're an absolute lifesaver.

I wear a 16W or 18 or 1X pant. My hips are 48". I went by the size chart and bought the XL. It fits perfectly. Length is great. Shorter lengths tend to ride up when my thighs rub. I've bought petti-shorts before and loved them under dresses. Keeps me from chaffing when I walk. Particularly in hot weather. Having an extra layer may be a little more warm but worth the comfort of not having my inner thighs "stick" together when walking. The only other thing that works is shapewear, but that is uncomfortable. I'm not looking for tight and uncomfortable. I'm looking for breezy and lightweight. My shape is my shape. The reality is, being comfortable adds to feeling better which makes you act more relaxed and confident in your clothes and looking better.

As I noted, I spent more, but these are well worth what I paid. Since vanity fair doesn't sell them any more and if there were more days in a week, I would buy more.

I bought 3 of the 3 packs in 2X of each colour in 2012 and they are AMAZING. Not only do they still look brand new (and I wear them every day as I LIVE in dresses and skirts) but they feel brand new still! SOOO COMFY! PERFECT for plus sized people. No chub rub! No rashes! No thigh burn! They wick sweat away super fast and because of the material it takes hardly any time for them to dry so even in crazy +40C/104F degree weather(I live on the edge of a desert) my thighs/crotch area stays nice and dry and it makes life so much more comfy!! As a plus sized lady I have to say that I also bought the 4 inch ones and although they are just as beautiful and amazing, they ride up on me, and gather in my crotch area and then my thighs rub together. Defeating the whole purpose. So just a heads up if you happen to be plus sized you should probably go 9 inch not 4 inch. Thank you underworks! I will DEFINITELY be purchasing again if these ever happen to wear out!

I love these long bloomers for wearing under my long skirts and long dresses. Keeps those chubby inner thighs from rubbing together and makes me feel so comfortable. i have a Medical skin condition which requires me to wear Women's silky nylon slips. in california 100 degrees summer days my skin has to remain cool with lots of air flow. wearing these silky nylon slips under nylon gym shorts makes my infected areas of my skin soft & cool in the HOT California Summer Heat. Not being able to wear these women's nylon slips will cause bacterial breakout all over my affected area. Have and will continue to use these culotte slips for many years, especially during the hot, sticky days of summer. Bought several sets for me and my mother (who had been asking for these since her sister "stole" them from her last summer) to replace our old ones in 9-inch inseam length. Kept those for my mother in that length, but exchanged mine for the 4-inch inseam because of my skirt lengths (usually to the knee) in the summer. The slips are comfortably loose, help prevent thighs chafing, keep you cooler, and bring a cleaner line and cover to light or sheer skirts. Since they fit loosely the 4-inch inseam slips fall to mid thigh; while the 9-inch fall to the knee. The lace adds a nice touch--not scratchy or stiff; and they launder in a breeze.

Having an extra layer may be a little more warm but worth the comfort of not having my inner thighs "stick" together when walking. They wick sweat away super fast and because of the material it takes hardly any time for them to dry so even in crazy +40C/104F degree weather(I live on the edge of a desert) my thighs/crotch area stays nice and dry and it makes life so much more comfy!! Having an extra layer may be a little more warm but worth the comfort of not having my inner thighs "stick" together when walking. Not only do they still look brand new (and I wear them every day as I LIVE in dresses and skirts) but they feel brand new still! SOOO COMFY! PERFECT for plus sized people. No chub rub! No rashes! They wick sweat away super fast and because of the material it takes hardly any time for them to dry so even in crazy +40C/104F degree weather(I live on the edge of a desert) my thighs/crotch area stays nice and dry and it makes life so much more comfy!! As a plus sized lady I have to say that I also bought the 4 inch ones and although they are just as beautiful and amazing, they ride up on me, and gather in my crotch area and then my thighs rub together. Also I am 5’5” and I weigh 126 lbs. some people said the slip runs small, but that is not true. I ordered a large, but I could’ve fit into a small. The large is kind of like a one size fits all, nice and roomy.

Having an extra layer may be a little more warm but worth the comfort of not having my inner thighs "stick" together when walking. The only other thing that works is shapewear, but that is uncomfortable. I'm not looking for tight and uncomfortable. I'm looking for breezy and lightweight. My shape is my shape. The reality is, being comfortable adds to feeling better which makes you act more relaxed and confident in your clothes and looking better.

Not only do they still look brand new (and I wear them every day as I LIVE in dresses and skirts) but they feel brand new still! SOOO COMFY! PERFECT for plus sized people. No chub rub! No rashes! No thigh burn! They wick sweat away super fast and because of the material it takes hardly any time for them to dry so even in crazy +40C/104F degree weather(I live on the edge of a desert) my thighs/crotch area stays nice and dry and it makes life so much more comfy!! As a plus sized lady I have to say that I also bought the 4 inch ones and although they are just as beautiful and amazing, they ride up on me, and gather in my crotch area and then my thighs rub together. Defeating the whole purpose. So just a heads up if you happen to be plus sized you should probably go 9 inch not 4 inch. Thank you underworks! i have a Medical skin condition which requires me to wear Women's silky nylon slips. in california 100 degrees summer days my skin has to remain cool with lots of air flow. wearing these silky nylon slips under nylon gym shorts makes my infected areas of my skin soft & cool in the HOT California Summer Heat. Bought several sets for me and my mother (who had been asking for these since her sister "stole" them from her last summer) to replace our old ones in 9-inch inseam length. Kept those for my mother in that length, but exchanged mine for the 4-inch inseam because of my skirt lengths (usually to the knee) in the summer. The slips are comfortably loose, help prevent thighs chafing, keep you cooler, and bring a cleaner line and cover to light or sheer skirts. Since they fit loosely the 4-inch inseam slips fall to mid thigh; while the 9-inch fall to the knee. The lace adds a nice touch--not scratchy or stiff; and they launder in a breeze.

They wick sweat away super fast and because of the material it takes hardly any time for them to dry so even in crazy +40C/104F degree weather(I live on the edge of a desert) my thighs/crotch area stays nice and dry and it makes life so much more comfy!! As a plus sized lady I have to say that I also bought the 4 inch ones and although they are just as beautiful and amazing, they ride up on me, and gather in my crotch area and then my thighs rub together. For so long I did not wear long skirts and dresses for the above reasons. Now I can! Also Underworks Pettipants are less expensive and just as good quality. Like these better than cotton ones as cotton ones don't move as freely as the Nylon ones.

i have a Medical skin condition which requires me to wear Women's silky nylon slips. in california 100 degrees summer days my skin has to remain cool with lots of air flow. wearing these silky nylon slips under nylon gym shorts makes my infected areas of my skin soft & cool in the HOT California Summer Heat. Not being able to wear these women's nylon slips will cause bacterial breakout all over my affected area. I will have chafing which will result in surface bleeding and weeks to recover. fantastic product will purchase again.

Bought several sets for me and my mother (who had been asking for these since her sister "stole" them from her last summer) to replace our old ones in 9-inch inseam length. Kept those for my mother in that length, but exchanged mine for the 4-inch inseam because of my skirt lengths (usually to the knee) in the summer. The slips are comfortably loose, help prevent thighs chafing, keep you cooler, and bring a cleaner line and cover to light or sheer skirts. Since they fit loosely the 4-inch inseam slips fall to mid thigh; while the 9-inch fall to the knee. The lace adds a nice touch--not scratchy or stiff; and they launder in a breeze.

These were exactly what I was looking for. Slip like material that wasn’t too thick. They are very soft and pretty. After reading the reviews, I decided to go with the beige, which is a deep ivory. Also I am 5’5” and I weigh 126 lbs. some people said the slip runs small, but that is not true. I ordered a large, but I could’ve fit into a small. The large is kind of like a one size fits all, nice and roomy.

I bought these Pettipants to go under a mid-calf white linen dress that was slightly transparent. The longer size is perfect for this dress or one that falls just below the knee. Very comfortable and washes well. I previously bought shorter Pettipants for shorter dresses. My mother tells me that this style of slip was popular "way back when" and I say it's time to bring it back! Like many people, I get the dreaded thigh-chafe while wearing skirts, and neither nylons nor standard slips help. I ordered both the beige and black for a business trip to a desert climate and was so grateful for the comfort they provided. I walked 7 miles one day in the desert heat wearing one under a dress and when I got back to my hotel, my thighs were fine (though my feet were another story). I only wish I had known of these fifteen years ago--they're an absolute lifesaver.

I wear a 16W or 18 or 1X pant. My hips are 48". I went by the size chart and bought the XL. It fits perfectly. Length is great. Shorter lengths tend to ride up when my thighs rub. I've bought petti-shorts before and loved them under dresses. Keeps me from chaffing when I walk. Particularly in hot weather. Having an extra layer may be a little more warm but worth the comfort of not having my inner thighs "stick" together when walking. The only other thing that works is shapewear, but that is uncomfortable. I'm not looking for tight and uncomfortable. I'm looking for breezy and lightweight. My shape is my shape. The reality is, being comfortable adds to feeling better which makes you act more relaxed and confident in your clothes and looking better.

I have bought a total of 3 pairs at a different vendor. 1 large and 2 medium. The medium fit better, but I wouldn't exchange the large as it too is very pretty and comfortable. As I noted, I spent more, but these are well worth what I paid. Since vanity fair doesn't sell them any more and if there were more days in a week, I would buy more.

I bought 3 of the 3 packs in 2X of each colour in 2012 and they are AMAZING. Not only do they still look brand new (and I wear them every day as I LIVE in dresses and skirts) but they feel brand new still! SOOO COMFY! PERFECT for plus sized people. No chub rub! No rashes! No thigh burn! They wick sweat away super fast and because of the material it takes hardly any time for them to dry so even in crazy +40C/104F degree weather(I live on the edge of a desert) my thighs/crotch area stays nice and dry and it makes life so much more comfy!! As a plus sized lady I have to say that I also bought the 4 inch ones and although they are just as beautiful and amazing, they ride up on me, and gather in my crotch area and then my thighs rub together. Defeating the whole purpose. So just a heads up if you happen to be plus sized you should probably go 9 inch not 4 inch. Thank you underworks! I love these Pettipants! Perfect to wear under summer dresses. Lightweight and cool, but great coverage. I like them because they are silky and loose and fit like a baggy pair of shorts. I bought two pair, one white and one beige.

These were exactly what I was looking for. Slip like material that wasn’t too thick. They are very soft and pretty. After reading the reviews, I decided to go with the beige, which is a deep ivory. Also I am 5’5” and I weigh 126 lbs. some people said the slip runs small, but that is not true. I ordered a large, but I could’ve fit into a small. The large is kind of like a one size fits all, nice and roomy.

Perfect fit with my usual size. I ordered a pair sized up for loose lounging and they're absolutely great when it's warm outside. They are cute for hanging around the house and sleep, and comfortable under clothing. The black provides enough coverage for me to wear them around our rural property.

Perfect for white linen dresses.

I bought these Pettipants to go under a mid-calf white linen dress that was slightly transparent. The longer size is perfect for this dress or one that falls just below the knee. Very comfortable and washes well. I previously bought shorter Pettipants for shorter dresses. If you've ever felt uncomfortable going up public stairs or escalators, these give you that layer of privacy you want.

My mother tells me that this style of slip was popular "way back when" and I say it's time to bring it back! Like many people, I get the dreaded thigh-chafe while wearing skirts, and neither nylons nor standard slips help. I ordered both the beige and black for a business trip to a desert climate and was so grateful for the comfort they provided. I walked 7 miles one day in the desert heat wearing one under a dress and when I got back to my hotel, my thighs were fine (though my feet were another story). I only wish I had known of these fifteen years ago--they're an absolute lifesaver.

I wear a 16W or 18 or 1X pant. My hips are 48". I went by the size chart and bought the XL. It fits perfectly. Length is great. Shorter lengths tend to ride up when my thighs rub. I've bought petti-shorts before and loved them under dresses. Keeps me from chaffing when I walk. Particularly in hot weather. Having an extra layer may be a little more warm but worth the comfort of not having my inner thighs "stick" together when walking. The only other thing that works is shapewear, but that is uncomfortable. I'm not looking for tight and uncomfortable. I'm looking for breezy and lightweight. My shape is my shape. The reality is, being comfortable adds to feeling better which makes you act more relaxed and confident in your clothes and looking better.

I have bought a total of 3 pairs at a different vendor.  1 large and 2 medium. The medium fit better, but I  wouldn't exchange the large as it too is very pretty and comfortable. As I noted, I spent more, but these are well worth what I paid. Since vanity fair doesn't sell them any more and if there were more days in a week,  I  would buy more.

These make great pajamas ! I have a 9" one and the inseam is just long enough for a mature fellow. The lace isn't scratchy and the silky nylon feels so good against your body. Easy to wash and fast to dry, stains come right out. Excellent for travel, sleep, or play.

Gents, these are the most comfortable underwear that you will ever wear. The soft nylon is very cool on warm days. If you currently wear boxers or want to loosen up from briefs, these are for you.  I have the 9 inch ones for under long pants and the 4 inch ones for under shorts.  The lace edging is not only very comfortable, it also helps keep the legs from any rolling up..Give these a try, you won't go back to typical mens underwear....

Gents, these are the most comfortable and cool underwear I have ever worn. If you wear boxers now or if you feel the need to "loosen up" from briefs, these are the answer. The soft nylon is very comfortable and the lace helps to keep them from rolling or bunching up...I bought the 9 inch to wear under long pants and the 4 inch for under shorts so the lace doesn't show.  They are also great to wear at night either by themselves or under pjs.  Give them a try, you won't go back to traditional men's underwear.

I bought 3 of the 3 packs in 2X of each colour in 2012 and they are AMAZING.
Not only do they still look brand new (and I wear them every day as I LIVE in dresses and skirts) but they feel brand new still! SOOO COMFY!
PERFECT for plus sized people. No chub rub! No rashes! No thigh burn! They wick sweat away super fast and because of the material it takes hardly any time for them to dry so even in crazy +40C/104F degree weather(I live on the edge of a desert) my thighs/crotch area stays nice and dry and it makes life so much more comfy!!
As a plus sized lady I have to say that I also bought the 4 inch ones and although they are just as beautiful and amazing, they ride up on me, and gather in my crotch area and then my thighs rub together. Defeating the whole purpose. So just a heads up if you happen to be plus sized you should probably go 9 inch not 4 inch.

These are great to have! I have bought other products in the past to wear under dresses to protect against "chub rub" and I couldn't wait to get home and get them off. These pettipants are very comfortable and breathable and best of all not restrictive! I usually buy petite items so the crotchet doesn't hang to my knees but theses fit just fine. I am buying the 4 inch inseam next. Thrilled with my purchase!

Great Bloomers

I love these long bloomers for wearing under my long skirts and long dresses. Keeps those chubby inner thighs from rubbing together and makes me feel so comfortable. For so long I did not wear long skirts and dresses for the above reasons. Now I can! Also Underworks Pettipants are less expensive and just as good quality.
Like these better than cotton ones as cotton ones don't move as freely as the Nylon ones.

i have a Medical skin condition which requires me to wear Women's silky nylon slips. in california 100 degrees summer days my skin has to remain cool with lots of air flow. wearing these silky nylon slips under nylon gym shorts makes my infected areas of my skin soft & cool in the HOT California Summer Heat. Not being able to wear these women's nylon slips will cause bacterial breakout all over my affected area. I will have chafing which will result in surface bleeding and weeks to recover. fantastic product will purchase again.

Practical and Comfortable

Have and will continue to use these culotte slips for many years, especially during the hot, sticky days of summer. Bought several sets for me and my mother (who had been asking for these since her sister "stole" them from her last summer) to replace our old ones in 9-inch inseam length. Kept those for my mother in that length, but exchanged mine for the 4-inch inseam because of my skirt lengths (usually to the knee) in the summer. The slips are comfortably loose, help prevent thighs chafing, keep you cooler, and bring a cleaner line and cover to light or sheer skirts. Since they fit loosely the 4-inch inseam slips fall to mid thigh; while the 9-inch fall to the knee. The lace adds a nice touch--not scratchy or stiff; and they launder in a breeze.
