Why It Works:
Hot and cold therapy is clinically recommended to help ease discomfort, reduce inflammation, and support your recovery—especially during the postpartum period.
Instructions for hot therapy
- Place the gel pack in the freezer for 30 minutes to an hour.
- Place the gel pack into your garment and wear as intended.
- After use, wipe the gel pack with a damp cloth and mild soap and wipe dry and store for future use.
Instructions for cold therapy
Boiling instructions:
- Bring a pan of water to a boil and then move it away from the heat source.
- Place the gel pack in the pan of hot water for 8 to10 minutes.
- Remove the gel pack from the pan and place it into your garment and wear as intended.
- After use, wipe the gel pack with a damp cloth and mild soap and wipe dry and store for future use.
Microwavable instructions:
- Place the gel pack in a bowl of water and place the bowl in the microwave oven and heat at full power
for 30 seconds. Repeat as necessary in 30 second increments until desired temperature is reached.
