Compression and thermal therapy: This brief even goes further than the model 521 by including a proprietary hot cold therapy pad. Hot/Cold therapy has been found to be very effective in easing pain and reducing swelling. For cold therapy, simply place the Hot/Cold therapy pad in the freezer for 20-30 minutes, remove and insert into the built in crotch sleeve and wear the garment for as long as desired. For hot therapy, place the pad in a bowl of water and place the bowl in the microwave oven for 30 seconds. The Hot/Cold therapy pad also provides additional support in the area.
Regular underwear/briefs design: Unique panty design with built in bands that provide support and compression to reduce swelling in the vulvar veins and to provide the needed support to the pelvic floor muscles to relieve symptoms associated with Uterine prolapse, Cystocele, and Rectocele. The beauty is in the design - these are regular briefs, not some contraption of elastics wrapped around you. Just a panty or brief that does all you need at less than half the price that many charge.
Wear during or after pregnancy including post C-sections for relief from vulvar varicosities, vulvar swelling, and Lymphedema. This garment uses a cotton crotch that works as a sleeve for shields that would be very helpful in the event of vaginal discharge common when vaginal infections such as candidiasis are present.
An inguinal hernia occurs in the abdomen near the groin area. They develop when fatty or intestinal tissues push through a weakness in the abdominal wall near the right or left inguinal canal. Each inguinal canal resides at the base of the abdomen. This beautiful brief is effective in creating a firm lower abdominal artificial wall of support that alleviates pain caused by existing hernias such as Inguinal hernia and Femoral hernia and to help in prevention of future hernias.

I bought 2 of the #522 while waiting (years) for prolapse surgery. I have been dealing with stage 3-4 for at least 8 years and it became unbearable, uncomfortable and completely exhausting! In desperation, after happily finding the website, I called the number after reading the other reviews, talked to a very helpful rep in Miami who said it was a new product for which they’d had positive feedback. In only 4 days, I received a black and white pair (but they forgot to include the hot/cold packs.) This was most impressive, as I live in Alberta, Canada, and things usually take a LOT longer than that to ship from the US. The moment I put them on, I knew this was the best $120 (CAD, all in) I ever spent. I was able to function again! I went ahead with the surgery, but these were complete game changers! Thank you, Underworks, for this great product. I have shared this information and my enthusiasm with my GP and all his staff, as well as my urogynecologist and his staff. They were all most receptive. I also have a friend who ordered and she loves them as well.

Underworks Women Pelvic Prolapse Support Underwear

We asked, what garment would we make to help women that suffer from vulvar varicosities, whether during pregnancy or not, that suffer from prolapses, and that would help those that have hernias or may get them? We looked around and found a lot of contraptions that were made of elastics wrapped around and around and we said no that’s not it!. We need a garment that is just that, a garment, a brief, a panty that may be worn everyday just the same way women wear their regular underwear already. So we went to work and created it.
The Underworks Vulvar Varicosity Support Panty Brief is made to be highly effective in alleviating pain and reducing symptoms associated with vaginal swelling. Also known as vulvar varicosities, these are varicose veins at the outer surface of the female genitalia (vulva). They occur most often during pregnancy. As a result, blood pools in the veins of your lower extremities as well as your vulvar region causing vulvar varicosities or Lymphedema.
This boy leg brief has two overlapping bands built into the it that run through the pubic area providing compression and relief from vulvar swelling and overlap exactly where a floor of support for the pelvic area is created at the bottom. This helps in relieving prolapse such as Cystocele, Rectocele, and Uterine prolapse.
The garment is secured at the waist with a drawstring waistband thereby allowing for a lot of flexibility in locating the garment and tightness desired. An inguinal hernia occurs in the abdomen near the groin area. They develop when fatty or intestinal tissues push through a weakness in the abdominal wall.
This brief is effective in creating an artificial firm lower abdominal wall of support that alleviates the pain caused by existing hernias such as Inguinal hernia and Femoral hernia and to help in prevention of future hernias.
Hot/Cold therapy has been found to be very effective in easing pain and reducing swelling.

HOW TO WEAR

Step into the garment as you would regular brief and pull up to a level that applies the right amount of groin pressure you desire. Tighten at waist by pulling at the drawstrings and fasten with a knot.

HOW TO CARE

Wash in cold water, gentle cycle, tumble dry low or flat dry. No bleach, no iron.

Measure Your Hips

With a tape measure, take a snug measurement around your hips.

Fabric Composition:	55% Cotton 35% Polyester 10% Spandex
Hot & Cold Gel Pad Instructions:	Instructions for hot therapy Place the gel pack in the freezer for 30 minutes to an hour. Place the gel pack into your garment and wear as intended. After use, wipe the gel pack with a damp cloth and mild soap and wipe dry and store for future use. Instructions for cold therapy Boiling instructions: Bring a pan of water to a boil and then move it away from the heat source. Place the gel pack in the pan of hot water for 8 to10 minutes. Remove the gel pack from the pan and place it into your garment and wear as intended. After use, wipe the gel pack with a damp cloth and mild soap and wipe dry and store for future use. Microwavable instructions: Place the gel pack in a bowl of water and place the bowl in the microwave oven and heat at full power for 30 seconds. Repeat as necessary in 30 second increments until desired temperature is reached.
